Context

Every day, Spain publishes new laws, decrees, and official decisions in its government bulletin – the Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOE). The problem? It’s written in heavy legal language and buried in a massive database. Most people don’t have time (or patience) to decode it.

So we built a solution: a daily podcast that breaks it all down in just 2–3 minutes.

What we automate

We created a system that:

  • Pulls fresh regulations every day from the BOE

  • Extracts the key points using AI

  • Translates legal jargon into normal language

  • Adds a human voice to the script

  • Publishes it as a short, clear podcast on YouTube

Each law is tagged by topic, so listeners can quickly find what matters to them.

Tools and Stack

  • Python + VSCode

  • BOE API + AI services for summarizing and text-to-speech

  • GitHub for version control

  • Cloud server for automation

  • YouTube for publishing

 
Impact

This isn’t just another podcast. It’s a tool to help anyone—lawyer or not—stay informed on what’s being approved, changed, or decided in Spain. No more guessing what a new decree means. No more legal headaches. Just the facts, simplified.

 

This way, no one stays out of the loop.
